Full Time Ministry Position Available
In the fall of 2019, the Cornerstone church was pleased to bring Cain Atkinson to work with us in a two-year training capacity as our outreach minister. As that time has drawn to a close, Cain has decided to move on to another training program in Middle Tennessee. We are sad to see him leave and appreciate the good he accomplished here.
Over the last two years our church family has experienced unprecedented growth with 19 new families from the greater Dayton area placing membership, along with 6 baptisms. In the summer of 2020, the congregation purchased a larger, modern facility to accommodate our recent growth. We did not lose one member because of the pandemic. We have heavily invested in livestream technology and reach 10-15,000 people each month through our social media and livestream ministry. Over the last six months our church has had an average of 35-40 guests from the local community visiting our services and Bible studies each week, much of this due to our livestream and the personal invitations being extended by our members. We have an average attendance of ~200+ each Sunday.

- Guest evangelism: Regular follow-up with our guests … while including our members in the process.
- Facilitation of new convert classes: Our outreach minister will work closely with our shepherds and pulpit minister to integrate new converts into the Cornerstone family.
- Continuation in building a culture of evangelism: We want to focus on equipping our members for the work of ministry through classes, pulpit preaching, workshops, and in personal studies.
- Individual Bible Classes: This involves conducting individual Bible studies from personal contacts, guests, and suggestions by members, etc.
- Advertising / Marketing: This includes coming up with content for social media posts / advertising / marketing messages/branding for the congregation.
