The Hardest Kind of Love
by Matthew Allen on July 10th, 2026
...when the truth is going to cost you something to say — the friendship, the comfort, the awkward silence — do you say it anyway? Why We Speak — The Church the Wind Can't Move
by Matthew Allen on July 3rd, 2026
Paul's question is challenging: are we the boat that gets blown around by all of it — or have we grown up into something the wind can't move? Then comes the most important part. Three words: "speaking the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15). That's the whole difference between a church that stays four years old for thirty years and a church that grows up.  Read More

The Truth That Reaches the Heart — The Prayer He Prayed for You
by Matthew Allen on June 18th, 2026
... the truth that does the sanctifying isn't a file of facts you carry around. Think of the difference between a flashlight and a sunrise. When the Books are Opened
by Matthew Allen on October 31st, 2025
If you could open the record of your life right now — every thought, every word, every choice — what would you see? It’s sobering to think about. But for God’s people, it’s not meant to terrify — it’s meant to purify. It reminds us that life is short and eternity is sure. Now, as we reach the final month of our vision plan, we come to the moment when the Kingdom reaches its fulfillment — the moment when faith becomes sight.  Read More

The Bible calls us to receive His word “not as a human message, but as it truly is, the word of God, which also works effectively in you who believe” (1 Thessalonians 2:13). But listening isn’t enough—our hearts must be pliable, ready to obey no matter the cost. As King David told his son Solomon, “Serve [God] wholeheartedly and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands the intention of every thought” (1 Chronicles 28:9).
