Friday First - What Can Change a Heart?
Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life, Proverbs 4.23.
While we understand the importance of keeping our heart pure, sometimes we sounder how we can change the hearts of others. It may be a loved one, a friend, or a co-worker who comes to mind. What does the Bible say about the human heart?
Sometimes, we think a quick fix might work. It’s a sign of our times. If you’re looking for a quick fix when it comes to changing a heart, you may find things appear irreversible after a while of trying. Remember, many things look irreversible until God gets involved.
We need to trust Him. He has a different timetable than we do. Will we take the long term view? God works in ways we do not understand.
Will we trust Him? Will we rely on His unlimited power? Will we be still and allow Him to work?
