Lesson 12 - Twenty-Two Years Later

Nov 22, 2026    Rich Walker, Hunter Davis

This is the only lesson in this quarter aimed at your house instead of the church building. It falls the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the week the family gathers. The class builds Joseph's timeline out of the verses themselves: twenty-two years from the pit to the day he told his brothers who he was, then seventeen more before the scene in Genesis 50, where the brothers are still afraid of the man who already forgave them. That fear carries the lesson's central distinction. Forgiveness is commanded and it is yours to do alone. Reconciliation takes two. Nobody will be asked to read an answer out loud in this one.
