Lesson 3 - Somebody Else's Property
Sep 20, 2026 • Hunter Davis
When Peter describes a Christian who has received a gift, he does not call him talented. He calls him a steward, a man managing property that belongs to somebody else. That one word changes the question. It is no longer whether you are gifted enough. It is what you are doing with what was placed in your hands. This lesson works through 1 Peter 4:10-11 and Romans 12:3-8, sorts every kind of service into two kinds and ends with an honest inventory: what you are good at, what this congregation needs and whether any lines connect the two.
