Lesson 11 - Victories and Mistakes of Saul
Nov 26, 2024 • Matthew Allen
As chapter thirteen ends, Israel and the giant Philistine army are gathered on opposite sides of a valley. Saul's forces are woefully outnumbered, with only six hundred men available. Jonathan, the king's son, determined that Israel needed to launch forth in battle. His trust in God is seen in 14:6, where he refers to the Philistines as “uncircumcised” and says, “The Lord is not restrained to save by many or by few.”
