Lesson 17 - David and Jonathan

After fleeing Saul at Naioth, David turned to Jonathan, who knew nothing about the new death warrant on David. Jonathan was perplexed because he always knew the intentions of the king. David explained that Saul was not going to discuss this with Jonathan because the king knew of their close friendship. Things were at a very serious point for David: “There is but a step between me and death” 1 Samuel 20:3.
