Week 11 - Total Dependence on God: David

In Psalm 23, David took what people saw every day and caused them to see God. For the average person, nothing would have been more common than to see shepherds leading their sheep. The message of this Psalm would have immediately resonated in the mind of his readers as David skillfully painted a vivid image of the relationship he had with His heavenly Father. God was His Shepherd who fed, guided, and protected him.
