Lesson 8: They Humbled Themselves

This lesson is the heart of Part 2 of this study. Welcome, gifts, opportunity, generosity, and honor each rest on a single underlying disposition that verse 5 names directly: "the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus." Where that attitude is missing, the rest of the list stalls, and where it is present the practical love of the New Testament becomes possible in a real congregation.
