Week 8: When Growth Doesn't Feel Like Growth

Oct 25, 2026  •  Kyle Fletcher, Greg Morrison

Most Christians know the Sunday when we sing every verse and feel nothing. The man who wrote Psalm 42 had once led the crowds into the house of God. Now he was far from it, as thirsty as a deer in a dry season, and he talked back to his own soul and told it to hope in God. Habakkuk watched every source of food fail and still rejoiced in the LORD. Paul admits he was perplexed and refused to despair. This lesson treats the flat season as part of growing. God's people in Scripture kept praising when they had nothing to go on but who he is.
