Week 1: God: The God of Love

Due to His benevolent kindness, God has always directed His love toward mankind, given that they are created in His image and designed to have a relationship with Him. God loves all men whether sinful or righteous – although he hates sin and men as sinners (His creatures disobeying His will, who will suffer unless repentant), He still loves them as His creatures – this is clearly described in 2 Peter 3:9 & John 3:16.
