Week 22: A Song of Deliverance

Second Samuel 22 records a long song of praise from David. It reflects on how the Lord delivered him from his enemies and from Saul. This chapter is almost identical to Psalm 18 and serves as a theological reflection on David’s life. Rather than focusing on a single event, this song looks back over many years of struggle.
