CT065 - Jesus Brings Us to God

One verse, the whole gospel. Christ suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God. The cross was never the destination — it was the road. The destination is a person. Around the table, we don't add to what Christ already finished; we receive it again. The bread and the cup keep saying the same thing: he did this so I could be brought home.
