The Equipping Work of Elders

The addition of elders to oversee a congregation is a very serious matter. If congregations are to succeed in the 21st century, the days of a casual approach to the eldership and those who participate in it must end. Biblical leadership is about service. In Ephesians 4.11-12 Paul speaks of the equipping role of shepherds. What does that mean?
