Week 10 - The Divided Kingdom

In this lesson, we examine the pivotal moment in Israel’s history when the once united kingdom was divided into two separate nations: the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the Southern Kingdom of Judah. This division, brought about by disobedience and poor leadership, set the stage for centuries of conflict, idolatry, and God's judgment. However, it also highlights God's faithfulness to His covenant and His desire to bring His people back to Himself. As we explore this period, we will reflect on the lessons of leadership, sin, and God's mercy that are still relevant to us today.
