Lesson 5: The Beauty of the Heavenly City

Revelation 21–22 gives us a breathtaking vision of heaven as the New Jerusalem, the holy city shining with God’s glory. Its jeweled walls, golden streets, radiant light, and flowing river symbolize the perfection, purity, and eternal provision of God’s dwelling with His people. Yet the true beauty of the city is not in its materials but in the presence of God and the Lamb, who are its temple and its light. This lesson helps us see that heaven is the fulfillment of every longing of the soul—security, fellowship, joy, and eternal life in God’s presence.
